OUR MISSION

Founded in 2004, Papa Architecture, PC is an architectural firm whose primary focus and specialty is the designing of multifamily dwellings. As president of the company, Christopher V. Papa has had over 25 years of experience working in the five boroughs of New York. He obtained his education at Pratt Institute, located in Brooklyn, New York and graduated with a Bachelor's of Architecture in 1995. As a fundamental part of his education and career, Mr. Papa studied architecture in Italy and throughout Europe, which broadened his horizons to various types of architecture including historical buildings that were designed and constructed throughout history, along with today's most contemporary designs.

His career began in June 1995, working for a renowned architect in Queens, where he was the senior project manager handling complex projects in New York City. He worked closely with the New York City Department of Buildings to get jobs approved and amended in a timely matter. From this job experience, he gained significant insight to the field of architecture and developed his own expertise, style of design, and accomplishments.

Mr. Papa prides himself in understanding his clients' needs, especially in an evolving New York City Department of Buildings zoning code, policy, and procedural environment. He believes continuing education is imperative to remain current with emerging building technology, and materials and methods of construction. His main geographical areas of focus are in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. His dedication to his clients are shown through his work with real estate developers/agents, contractors, and engineers. In addition to being born and raised in Flushing, Queens NYC, he initially became licensed to practice architecture in the State of New York at the age of thirty-one and has recently obtained licensure in the states of New Jersey, South Carolina, and Florida.
